Myers-Briggs (MBTI): A Self-Empowerment Journey Exploring Personality Type

Understanding Ourselves and Others

This course describes a model of personality that gives insight into how and why people understand and approach the world in such different ways. The main objective of the MBTI is for participants to develop improved self-knowledge for better self-management.

As participants are introduced to the different personality preferences presented, they will have the opportunity to explore the effects these differences have on their own lives; both at work and at home. The Myers-Briggs Indicator (MBTI) provides a useful way of describing people's personalities by looking at their preferences on four scales (extraversion vs. introversion, sensing vs. intuition, thinking vs. feeling and judging vs. perceiving), preferences which combine to yield one of sixteen different types.

Program Objectives: Upon Completion of This Program, Participants Will Be Able To:

  • Learn and understand their MBTI type and Temperament
  • How to validate their type
  • Different characteristics of other types
  • How to work more effectively with people with differing types.

Important Note: This program is designed for middle to senior-level executives, managers and business owners. It can be customized for support staff members.
